Parapet Door

A door providing access through a parapet wall to a roof or exterior area. Parapet doors are often fire-rated and weather-sealed for exterior exposure.

Construction typically features hollow metal or insulated steel with weather seals and drip caps. Fire ratings match the wall construction-often 90 minutes for roof access in fire-rated buildings. Hardware includes panic hardware for egress with exterior keyed access.
