Transom Closer

A door closer designed for installation in the transom frame above the door, providing concealed closing function. Transom closers are used where surface-mounted closers are aesthetically unacceptable.

The closer body installs horizontally in the transom bar (minimum 4″ height typically required). A linkage arm connects to the door through the transom. Double-acting linkages allow inward and outward swing operation.

Transom closers provide all standard adjustments-sweep speed, latch speed, backcheck-and are sized similarly to surface closers.
