Leadlight

Decorative glazing using lead caming to join colored, textured, or beveled glass pieces into patterns. Leadlight (or leaded light) panels provide decorative character in door glazing and sidelights.

Traditional leadlight uses hand-cut glass assembled with H-profile lead came, soldered at intersections. Modern production may use zinc or brass caming and machine-cut glass. Protective glazing layers on both sides improve durability and security.
