Home Glossary WDMA

The Window and Door Manufacturers Association-representing manufacturers of windows, doors, and skylights. WDMA develops industry standards and promotes quality construction for wood, vinyl, and composite products.

WDMA I.S. standards (Industry Standards) cover wood flush doors, panel doors, and architectural doors. Performance grades, construction specifications, and quality assurance requirements ensure consistent product quality across manufacturers.

WDMA merged with AAMA in 2024, combining resources for fenestration industry standards. Specifiers reference WDMA standards for wood doors, particularly flush doors and panel doors. Related: AWI, SDI. Browse WDMA-compliant doors.
