Door Loop

A flexible electrical conduit protecting wires that pass from a fixed frame to a swinging door, maintaining electrical continuity for electronic locks, card readers, and access control devices mounted on the door.

Door loops consist of a flexible armored cable or plastic conduit installed at the hinge edge. One end terminates in the frame; the other extends to the door. Loop length accommodates full door swing without pulling or binding.

Proper sizing prevents wire fatigue from repeated bending. Conductor counts match the electrical devices on the door. Concealed loops route through frame and door edge; surface loops mount externally. Related: electric strike, electronic lock. Shop access control accessories.
