SIA (Security Industry Association)

The trade association for electronic and physical security product manufacturers and service providers. SIA develops technical standards, advocates for the security industry, and promotes security technology advancement.

SIA OSDP (Open Supervised Device Protocol) establishes secure communication standards for access control devices. Standards ensure interoperability between readers, controllers, and credentials from different manufacturers.
