Blind Door

A door designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding wall surface, concealing its presence when closed. Also called hidden doors, invisible doors, or jib doors. Blind doors provide discreet access to mechanical rooms, storage, and private spaces.

Construction features include flush surfaces matching wall material, concealed hinges, and touch-latch or push-to-open operation. Wall materials can continue across the door face-paint, wallpaper, paneling, or tile. Perimeter gaps are minimized with tight tolerances.

Applications include high-end residential, hospitality, retail, and any environment where visible doors detract from design intent. Hardware is either completely concealed or disguised as wall elements. Related: concealed hinge, jib door. Explore specialty door options.
