Access Panel

A small door or panel providing access to concealed mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems for inspection, maintenance, and repair. Access panels are installed in walls, ceilings, and floors throughout commercial buildings.

Standard sizes range from 8″ x 8″ to 24″ x 36″ with larger custom panels available. Frame materials include steel (paintable), stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic. Panel types include hinged, removable, cam-latch, screwdriver-operated, and keyed/lockable versions.

Fire-rated access panels (1, 2, and 3-hour ratings) are required when penetrating fire-rated assemblies. Insulated panels maintain thermal and acoustic envelope integrity.
