Founded in 1896 as Pacific Brass Manufacturing Co. in Southern California, the company pioneered the Maximum Security (MS) Lock in 1955—still the dominant locking solution for narrow stile aluminum openings today. Adams Rite specializes in electromechanical deadlocks and deadlatches, electric strikes, exit devices, and trim designed specifically for narrow stile aluminum doors. The company is ISO 9001 registered and continues to manufacture products that meet stringent safety and access codes for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
