Rockwood Manufacturing Company was founded in 1946 in rural southwestern Pennsylvania by the Gurzenda Family, focusing on the design and manufacture of quality builders’ hardware for commercial, institutional, and finer residential buildings. Joining the ASSA ABLOY family in 2008, Rockwood continues their strict attention to detail from selection of top-grade materials to application of the finest finishes. Now in their third generation of skilled craftsmen in Somerset, Pennsylvania, Rockwood specializes in custom and standard door pulls, push and pull bars, door stops and bolts, protection plates, kick plates, and flush bolts, with in-house plating and anodizing capabilities for all standard architectural finishes.
